Llano Gold and Treasure Fest Has Partnered with The TAMDC
NEW EVENT DATES FOR 2027!
Mark your calendars for the Llano Gold & Treasure Fest, happening March 13–14, 2027, at the John Kuykendall Event Center in Llano, Texas.
This year’s event will be held indoors and promises to be bigger and better than ever!
The TAMDC (Texas Association of Metal Detecting Clubs) Treasure Show has partnered with the Llano Railroad Museum and the Llano Mining Museum’s Llano Gold & Treasure Fest to create an exciting weekend for anyone interested in:
• Metal detecting
• Gold prospecting
• Gems and mineral prospecting
• Treasure and artifact hunting
• Coin collecting
• Civil War and frontier collectibles
• Antique bottles
• Native American artifacts
• Rocks and minerals
• Flint knapping
• Handmade jewelry
• And much more!
One of the featured attractions will be Terry Smith’s incredible collection of treasures and artifacts, believed to be one of the largest displays of its kind in Texas.
Visitors will also find vendors selling metal detectors, mining and prospecting equipment, detecting accessories, rocks, gems, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry. Handmade jewelry was especially popular at this year’s event, and we expect an even greater selection in 2027.
There will also be a gold panning area where visitors can bring their own pans and gold-bearing dirt and receive helpful advice on improving their gold-panning skills.
Throughout the weekend, we will offer a variety of educational and informative seminars covering metal detecting, prospecting, treasure hunting, minerals, collectibles, and related topics.
And for metal detecting enthusiasts, TAMDC is planning several exciting outdoor metal detecting hunts that attendees can join and participate in.
With more than 25,000 square feet of indoor event space, plus several acres outside for organized metal detecting hunts, this will be one of the most unique treasure-hunting and prospecting events in Texas and the surrounding states.
