Helping You Find More Treasure

I’m Ed, the owner of Texas Premium Detector. Metal detecting has been a big part of my life for more than 40 years. As a professional treasure hunter and certified crime scene detectorist, I’ve spent years learning how different detectors work and which equipment can help in different hunting conditions.

I started Texas Premium Detector to help people enjoy the search, whether they’re buying their first detector or adding specialized gear to a setup they already know well. I carry trusted brands including Minelab, Nokta, and XP, along with coils, pinpointers, digging tools, beach gear, and gold prospecting equipment.

Advice from an Active Detectorist

Choosing a detector can feel overwhelming. The right choice depends on where you plan to hunt, what you hope to find, and how much experience you have. I’m here to help you compare options, understand features, and find equipment that fits your goals.

My support doesn’t end when you place an order. If you have questions about your detector, its settings, or useful accessories, I’m glad to help before and after your purchase.

Your Treasure Hunting Partner

At Texas Premium Detector, my goal is simple: help you find the right gear, get out there, and enjoy every hunt. I’m proud to serve beginners and experienced detectorists with trusted products, personal advice, and Texas-size savings.
